Special Meeting with ACD Doda: Detailed Discussion on District Development, VB-G RAM-G and PMAY-G 2.0

Doda: A special meeting was held today with ACD Doda, Mr. Deen Mohammad Affaqi, at his office. The meeting took place in a very positive and cordial atmosphere. Editor-in-Chief of The Chenab Times, Mr. Farid Ahmed Naik, was also present during the interaction.

During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on various important issues related to the development and progress of District Doda. The focus remained on improving development activities, ensuring effective implementation of government schemes, and strengthening coordination for the overall welfare of the people.

The newly introduced VB-G RAM-G scheme was also discussed in detail. The conversation focused on how the scheme can be effectively presented before the public, how awareness among rural people can be increased, and how its benefits can reach the deserving sections of society.

Apart from this, several issues related to CAPEX development works were also discussed, including quality improvement, better execution of projects, and proper guidelines for contractors to ensure transparency and accountability in developmental activities.

The issue of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana–Gramin (PMAY-G 2.0) was also discussed in detail. The ongoing verification process in different Panchayats and the concerns of people who have remained outside the beneficiary list, known as Left-Out Beneficiaries, were brought to the attention of ACD Doda.

The complaints and concerns received from the public were also conveyed during the meeting. ACD Doda assured that after proper verification, all genuinely deserving beneficiaries would be considered and included in the list as per the guidelines, so that no eligible family remains deprived of the benefits of the housing scheme.

Following this, the District Administration has also taken steps in this direction. An order issued by the Deputy Commissioner Doda has directed the concerned department to constitute teams of six to seven members for door-to-door verification. These teams will identify eligible families and facilitate the inclusion of deserving beneficiaries under PMAY-G 2.0.

Throughout the interaction, ACD Doda Mr. Deen Mohammad Affaqi listened to all issues with great positivity and a cooperative approach. His willingness to discuss public concerns and focus on development reflected his commitment towards the progress of District Doda.

The meeting highlighted the importance of continued coordination between the administration, media, and the public to ensure better implementation of schemes and faster development across the district.
